KAMSA NY/NJ is the founding chapter of KAMSA. The NYC chapter recently combined with NJ to become a dual-state chapter to encompass more like-minded individuals!
KAMSA NY/NJ has hosted several events such as Dinner with Attendings and Research Panel, and has participated in numerous community events including the Annual Korean Health Festival at the Holy Name Medical Center, the Eye Camp by Vision Care USA, and the Medical Career Seminar hosted by AKAM.

DMV KAMSA is the KAMSA chapter located in/around the capital city of the US and represents the DC/MD/VA regions of the US. It includes several medical schools around the area, mainly Johns Hopkins, U of Maryland, Uniformed Services U of Health Sciences, Georgetown, George Washington, UVA, and Eastern Virginia Medical School.
DMV KAMSA has stayed active by holding financial seminars, Holiday party with attending physicians of DMV KAMA, and lectures for medical students by Korean American physicians.

KAMSA of GA is composed of students from all 5 medical schools in Georgia: Medical College of Georgia, Emory, Mercer, PCOM, and Morehouse. Since our chapter was founded, we have continued to cultivate a supportive community for medical students. With this in mind, KAMSA of GA has held events including networking events with Korean physicians, holiday potlucks, volunteering events, pre-medical forums, and scholarship opportunities for our membership

KAMSA CRC (California Regional Chapter) comprises the medical schools of sunny CA and is the first western extension of KAMSA that strives to reach out to the dense Korean American populations of NorCal and SoCal, originating from their close proximity to the motherland itself. Founded at Loma Linda, they have currently expanded to UCSD, UCI, and Western U in their first few months and have aggressive plans to eventually encompass all CA medical schools.
Their mission involves professional networking both with other students and KAMA physicians, volunteering in the Korean American community via health seminars and screenings, and pre-med advisory seminars via cooperation with undergraduate KASA (KA Student Association) chapters. Besides these objectives, they love to enjoy the laidback culture of California and enjoying time spent with each other.

KAMSA TX is one of the most active KAMSA regional chapters that represents the Lone Star State. The chapter includes all medical schools around TX including Texas A&M, Baylor, UT Southwestern, UT Houston, UT Rio Grande Valley, Texas Tech El Paso, Lubbock, UT Health San Antonio, and UT Medical Branch (Galveston).
Given the large size of Texas, KAMSA TX usually holds local events around the state. In recent years, KAMSA TX has hosted potlucks, other social gatherings, pre-medical seminars, mentorship events, and scholarship opportunities.

KAMSA Midwest is the newest chapter of KAMSA and represents medical schools in the north-central states of the United States of America.
KAMSA Midwest's mission statement is creating a supportive network of medical students and mentors is a tremendous leap forward in building a prosperous future and legacy for Korean-American physicians in the Midwest.
